The FuelFilm “Pitch In” is a workshop to inspire, motivate and challenge screenwriters and filmmakers to focus their film idea into the perfect pitch.

Featuring a 20 min. intro and motivational discussion with screenwriter/author David Gerrold via video conference, followed by round-table feedback workshops to hone your story idea and elements, treatment or screenplay into a coherent and compelling one-minute pitch in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

When: Saturday, Feb. 13th @ 1 pm

Where: Emerge Memphis (516 Tennessee St.)

Admission: $10 (includes snacks & deli lunch)

Indie Memphis invades the Oxford Film Festival in Oxford, Mississippi this weekend with a full slate of films from last October’s 12th annual Indie Memphis Film Festival.

Starting tonight, don’t miss the mid-South return Indie Memphis ‘09 award-winners, including Stingray Sam (Special Jury Award for Innovative Filmmaking), Wheedle’s Groove (Audience Award for Documentary), The Ballad of Friday and June (Jury Award for Best Short), and I Am A Man: From Memphis, A Lesson In Life (Special Jury Award for Portrayal of Living History & Audience Award for Hometowner Film).
