Li’l Film Fest Returns With “Memphis: Fact or Fiction”

Friday, January 9th, 2009

Indie Memphis is thrilled to be collaborating with Live from Memphis on the triumphant and highly anticipated return of their LI’L FILM FEST, presented in partnership with the Memphis Tourism Foundation. Over the next couple of months, Memphis-area filmmakers are invited to make short films (5 minutes or less) focused on the theme “Memphis: Fact or Fiction” and including a surprise ingredient to be announced at the Li’l Film Fest Kick-off Party on Wednesday, January 28.

The Grand Jury Award features $500 in cash prizes presented by Indie Memphis and the Memphis & Shelby County Film and Television Commission, with cash from the door making up the Audience Choice Award’s prize — and each receives a customized, thematic trophy!

Entry deadline: Postmarked by Friday Feb 27th (or delivered by Monday, March 2nd).

The Li’l Film Fest screening takes place at 2 pm on Saturday, March 21 at the Brooks Museum of Art.
