Hangin' at Indie Memphis 2008: Ben Kasulke, Lynn Shelton, Ted Speaker

Sundance just announced the competition lineup for its ‘09 festival, which includes the World Premiere of HUMPDAY — the third feature from Indie Memphis 2008 filmmaker Lynn Shelton (writer/director, MY EFFORTLESS BRILLIANCE).

HUMPDAY (writer/director, Lynn Shelton) - a bromantic comedy about straight male bonding gone a little too far. Cast: Mark Duplass, Joshua Leonard, Alycia Delmore, Lynn Shelton, Trina Willard.

Lynn was at Indie Memphis in October with her friends and collaborators Ben Kasulke (cinematographer of MY EFFORTLESS BRILLIANCE and HUMPDAY; director of the Indie Memphis ‘08 short CRUSTVASKA) and Ted Speaker (composer of MY EFFORTLESS BRILLIANCE; associate producer of HUMPDAY). All three of them served on the jury for the 2008 Music Video Showcase.

Read about the full competition lineup in Variety and on IndieWIRE. The Sundance non-competitive lineup (including Premieres, Spectrum, Midnight and New Frontiers) will be announced on Friday, Dec. 4.
